Cpanel - is a basic shared server, it offers many programs, and is easy to administer. However, it is slow because the Database is a shared DB. Cpanel, is a good choice if you want a easy user interface. However, it is much slower because it is additional hardware running on top of Apache and PHP. We do offer this hosting however, many often find it slow, and end up upgrading to our premium hosting.

Cpanel offers a shared mail hosting, which has many exploits that spammers use to both send mail, and they are riddled with spam after a year or so of use. We have a shared cpanel server, and it offers a good value for end users. But our other servers offer much more value for the dollar.

Personal - Many users only need a few webpages to start a site. They don't need databases, and only a email account or 2. We have created the personal level webhosting for those users. We have added php free to the account. For many users this is the ideal hosting setup on the market.

Basic VPS- Basic offers 1 unrestricted Database, 1 GB of storage, 10 GB a month of bandwidth transfer, and 500 MB of mail storage. (IF you have a Database driven site, such as Joomla, Gallery, Moodle, Drupal, etc, this is the service for you)

Premium VPS- For those who need more than a GB of storage, or more than 500 MB of email storage, this is the account for you.

Additional - Need more space than what is offered? Offer additional bandwith, storage, and DB's, at an affordable rate. However, not many websites will ever need anything more than the Basic hosting requirements.

Cpanel vs our VPS (Virtual Private Servers) - cpanel basically uses a shared server technology. This means that they often put 1,000 websites onto a server, they give huge quotes about how much they can give you, and then those 1,000 websites, are competing for the exact same resources. The majority of the sites will never use half of the resources quoted, but those that do, are then asked to upgrade to a VPS. A virtual private server account then usually runs $60-100 dollars a month.

We do not like this theory, and only sell what the user needs. We run dedicated machines, to share the burden of fewer sites on to them. For example, dedicated Database, mail and hosting servers. We only put on to the machines about 50% of what they can hold, to not strain the severs, and we do not upsell you, you can at anytime upgrade your server contracts. A dedicated machine, really has less going on, and can run its fewer processes much quicker, than a shared server.

If you have only a few pages of HTML on a server, you do not need anything fancy, and our personal server will fit your needs well, so we don't charge you extra for things that are not needed. On the other hand if you want a Database driven website, you will find that much a shared server cannot keep up with the demands that you put it under, therefore a VPS will be a better choice.

Backup - We offer a unique backup service. We run a mirrored server, for instant backup in case of drive failure, but we also run a daily backup which stores all the info on the server for 7 days. Each day we take a backup of the website. The backup isn't written over for 7 days. E.G. We have a Monday backup which isn't written over until the following Monday, a Tuesday backup, a Wednesday backup, a Thursday backup, a Friday backup, a Saturday Backup, and a Sunday backup. (A 1 GB account quickly grows to 8 GB of storage, however, this service helps to prevent accidental data loss for our customers, and many have found it invaluable)
